It is a genuine privilege to serve the children of Extend Learning Academies Network (ELAN). Having grown up in Weston‑super‑Mare - attending school and college here, and teaching and leading in one of our trust schools for over a decade - this mission feels deeply personal to me.

I am immensely proud of the work our trust does every day: nurturing curiosity, building confidence, and helping every child to discover their best self. ELAN’s schools are unique, each shaped by the communities they serve, yet united by a shared commitment to excellence, kindness, and opportunity.

Our purpose is simple but powerful - to provide an education that opens doors and transforms lives. We believe that happy, well‑rounded children achieve great things, and that schools should stand proudly at the heart of their communities.

I am honoured to lead a team of dedicated professionals who consistently ‘do the right thing’ for our children, families, and staff. Together, we will continue to build a trust that celebrates individuality, champions collaboration, and adds lasting value to every life we touch.
