Our ELAN SEND Council has been busy making a difference!

The ELAN SEND Council brings together pupil representatives from all nine of our primary schools alongside colleagues from North Somerset Council.

These incredible young people work collaboratively to share messages that support other young people, offering useful information and strategies they can embed in their own lives.

Last year, they identified an important issue affecting many children: sleep, and how it impacts wellbeing, learning, mood and daily life.

With support from North Somerset Council and Dan Lawton from Maven, they created a short film to raise awareness — designed to be shared in schools, on social media, and hopefully one day in GP surgeries and health centres. (If you can help us make that dream happen, please get in touch.)
