Join our small and friendly team at Extend Learning Academies Network. An exciting opportunity has been created for a suitably experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Payroll Administrator.
You will report to the HR Manager and be required to work on payroll and basic HR matters at the Central office.
You will be responsible for the monthly payroll, ensuring accurate processing of payroll records by entering data onto the HR and Payroll system and need to have good interpersonal skills and a friendly telephone manner
Specific duties will include:
- Inputting and reconciling monthly claims and expenses
- Inputting/ reconciling absence input including calculating SSP/OMP entitlements and SMP/OMP entitlements
- Processing court orders and statutory payments and processing deductions such as childcare scheme and cycle scheme
- Processing monthly starters, leavers and contracts amendments
- Pension admin – ensuring auto enrolment requirements are complied with
- Assisting with month-end procedures
- Preparation of management reports
- Explaining/answering any payroll queries
- Carrying out BACS and payments to deadlines
